The Great Debate
NHI's Great Debate is a communications and leadership development program for ambitious 9th-grade youth. Students develop critical thinking and verbal communication skills through organized discussions and debates about issues impacting today's Latino community.
Lorenzo De Zavala Youth Legislative Session
An eight-day intensive leadership experience where students learn to create, manage, and navigate large organizations. Through policy writing, constituency development, and governance simulations, students practice the competencies of real-world leadership.
Collegiate World Series
The capstone experience of the NHI pipeline. Seniors applying to college participate in a four-day experience that connects them with top universities through NHI's College Register consortium, preparing them for the transition to independent adult life and collegiate leadership.
